Dear John Wilson,
I would like to share my crew’s and my personal deepest appreciation and thanks for all your help, care and support that you give to our crew during ship’s calls in Liverpool.
I can honestly assure you that without you and Liverpool’s Seafarers Center support the life of the crew would be much difficult and lonely.
Your supply of the internet sim cards allow the priceless opportunity the crew member to have (the only) connection with their families home.
The free transport from ship’s gangway to the city center (or supermarket) allow crew to be relieved of all the psychical pressure of the continuous life and work on board the ship.
The presents which you bring to crew also remind them that they are not forgotten in these difficult times with all COVID 19 restrictions imposed all around the world.
Only in Liverpool and only via your help we have a chance to receive sim card on board and an opportunity crew to have a shore leave.
Also, I would like to advise you that even without sim cards, presents or transport, etc., only your mere visit to the ship and time you spend to speak to crew give the crew some very pleasant feeling that somebody from the shore care for them.
There is no other such port where the crew can have such kind support and attitude.
Thank you again from all my crew and me for everything you have done for us during our calls in Liverpool. It is really much appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Ivaylo Sabev,
Master of m/v Naama Borchard
